Herd health evaluations are systematic assessments used to monitor, maintain, and improve the overall health and productivity of livestock populations. Rather than focusing on individual animals, these evaluations address population trends, disease prevention, whole-herd health assurance, documentation, and management efficiency.
Surgical Procedures
Surgical procedures for food animals are performed in our large animal facility using local, regional, and/or general anesthesia. Our temperature-controlled environment allows us to maintain sterility and safely handle patients while performing a wide range of procedures as recommended by our doctors.
Hydraulic Tilt Table
Our hydraulic tilt table allows for safe and efficient restraint of livestock during lameness examinations, treatments, and certain surgical procedures. This equipment helps protect both patients and veterinary staff.
Lameness & Foot Care
Lameness is one of the most significant welfare and economic challenges in food animal medicine. Approximately 90% of lameness cases originate in the foot, most commonly in the hind limbs. The hydraulic tilt table allows for proper restraint and accurate diagnosis and treatment of foot and lameness issues.
